CARLA TUCKER

Carla is a Melbourne based artist who predominantly paints still life works in oils.
After graduating from Textile Design at RMIT Carla worked in the fashion & textile industry for many years. Since 2016, Carla has been dedicated to painting full time.
Carla’s inspirations are abundant from modern masters; Cezanne, Matisse, Gauguin and closer to home Australian painters Dorrit Black and Alison Rehfisch. A self-confessed op & vintage shop addict, she’s forever scouring the aisles for the "perfect find" to include in a still life set up.
Carla has undertaken many courses & workshops at both Australian & overseas studios and has been a finalist in the Portia Geach and Len Fox painting awards.
